I have been cooking for family and friends for over fifty years. I have a set revere ware cookware which was a wedding gift from my mother. I have used this set of stainless steel copper bottom cookware for 53 years in September this fall. They still look great because I have always cleaned them after each use. I also clean the copper bottoms. I feel these pans are the best made. I wouldn’t buy any brand but revere ware stainless steel copper bottom cookware. They cook evenly and things do not scorch in them like others. I know this for a fact because I have another set of pans that are stainless steel and they do not cook like my revere ware. The other set I have is the French Touch Collection 18/10 Stainless Steel. They have thick 4 mm aluminum core bottom sandwiched between Stainless Steel. They hold the heat too long. I do not believe them suitable to cook on an electric range. My Revere ware cooks well on gas or electric. I do not have to worry about scorching my pie fillings when using my revere ware cookware. I also have cast iron skillets and Dutch ovens. I use my deep skillet which is called a chicken fryer to fry my chicken. I have also used ithem for 53 years. I have one cast iron skillet which was my mother in laws. When my husband was a small boy my mother in law dropped a pint canning jar on the handle and broke the handle off. My mother in law took the skillet to a friend who was a welder and had the handle welded back on the skillet. I still use this skillet today. I fry bacon, potatoes and make gravy in it. This skillet is very easy for me to handle and it is not small. It is my favorite iron skillet.
